There's nothing more annoying than having content ripped off without so much as a reach around. The worst case? CBS embedded a video from my YouTube channel giving credit to the website that had kindly linked to me (thanks Marc Morano of Climate Depot), CBS News had 100,000 views on THEIR website, the bastards, which equates to hundreds of £/$ worth of scarce income.
The latest case, these tools at ZeroHedge (Tyler Durden)

Dear all,
I've updated the menus (Sections/Categories) and consolidated our columnists into just the one category, click on the menu option as the 'widget' on the home page is slightly flaky in these circumstances, use the menu options to see all content for any particular category.
I have removed the 'Cartoon' category as Mr Forward appears to have gone AWOL/is pursuing other blogging interests, I have added 'Plod' as they are such a rich vein of humour and stupidity to mine. |

I'd be the first to defend the right of the older generation to stand for public office, although my local UKIP parliamentary candidate in south-west London seems to be fighting the 1959 general election rather than the one scheduled for 6th May 2010.
Brian Gilbert, 78, tells us that he 'hopped from job to job' until 1956, having trained as an air radio fitter in the RAF after the war.

Frankly I hate it, must be an age thing, on the other hand so much change these days seems to be no more than an exercise in the proverbial 'rearranging of deck chairs',

A court in Azerbaijan has rejected the appeal of two bloggers who were sentenced to prison last year in a case that supporters say was politically motivated.
The bloggers are opposition activists in a country where independent media and opposition parties have faced persistent pressure.

Driver problems are relatively frequent, hard drive failures less so. The problem is that the two can easily be confused, especially if your disk takes a few days to die.
Of course once that happens, you're knackered and it's new disks and a full restore or reinstallation. . . . .
Like I haven't anything better to do.

BEIJING (AP) — Where is President Hu Jintao?
That's the question online supporters were asking Tuesday after a user account for the stiff and formal politician disappeared from a Twitter-like microblogging site two days after it was discovered.

With any luck you've found our 'new' home, I know at least two or three of you have so that's a start. With the 'bloglist' links broken I'm not getting many referrals and I've lost all search engine traffic because we haven't mass imported the posts from the previous format. It seems very quiet. . . .

For those linking to The Daily politics via the bloglist widget will need to update the URL, either of the following feeds work (I've checked):
I'll review the feeds with a view to categorising the content more clearly when I have a moment. |
