Earthquake storm and a missing Black Hole

Sunday, 14 March 2010

Today: "TOKYO  (AP) — A strong magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit off the eastern coast of Japan on Sunday, rattling buildings across a broad swath of the country, including the crowded capital."

It had occured to me to write about the seemingly large numbers of earthquakes over the last two to three months, everyone loves a good apocalypse story, look how well MMGW is received, depite the lack of real scientific evidence, then I saw an article by seismologists saying it was nothing unusual, blah, blah, blah, but the sceptic in me has doubts. So is there anything to the 'Earthquake Storm' scenario?

If you follow the 'Earthquake storm' link you'll see that this is something completely different to what is actually happening at the moment. However, if one is going to talk 'storms' then what we are presently seeing is far beyond anything described in the Wiki article in terms of frequency. The difference of course is that an 'Earthquake storm' occurs along a particular fault, and this is not the case with what we are seeing at the moment. So what if anything could be causing this?

Cern Missing Black Hole Raises New Safety Concerns

Putting 2 and 2 together and probably making 5, let us suppose for one minute that there's something to be said for this story. Where would a black hole go? Would it just float off somewhere, or would gravity determine its diirection, perhaps towards the centre of the Earth.

Time maybe short, party on like it's 1999.

So many earthquakes recently - I can't get my head around a missing black hole - I'm still coming to terms with HAARP. China is always messing around with the weather too; they recently ended a drought in the north by propelling chemicals into the atmosphere. The day that sort of thing stops is the day I might accept I have to be taxed to oblivion in order to prevent AGW caused by my breathing.
